For those keeping score at home, Opus Number 72 is exactly halfway to my ultimate goal: Opus Number 144, a 17th String Quartet. If I can just live six more years and keep to my average pace of a new work per month, I can finally actually "retire" at about 72. Or maybe anything after that will just be gravy.
